This is a brutally graphic fun movie. Delivering pretty much all one would expect from a Mortal Kombat titled endeavor. The story is actually fairly bland and extremely predictable but the obvious point of this title is to give the viewers some great skull cracking, limb snatching action. The art work is cool, the voice cast is great and the action is fun.
I like the concept of familiar characters from a familiar timeline and presenting them in a different time period and almost like they are performing in a play that appears to be a world within a world.
This should prove that Vince Vaughn is a solid to very good actor, I thought he got lazy with his comedy work and just played the same character. This role will get him tons of work cause he was committed and showed a ton of range.
