Sandeep Vanga Reddy’s action-packed Bollywood venture, “Animal,” starring Ranbir Kapoor, claimed the global top spot with a staggering $42.1 million, released across 38 territories. In North America, it secured $6.1 million, ranking seventh, while in India, it dominated at No. 1, amassing $28.8 million over the weekend.

The film revolves around Kapoor’s character, the son of India’s wealthiest man (played by Anil Kapoor), facing off against an antagonist portrayed by Bobby Deol. It is currently showcased on 21,500 screens across 63 markets, with a pending release in South Korea on Dec. 6.

Lionsgate’s “The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes” secured the third spot, grossing $29.4 million globally from 88 territories. This brings the international total to $123 million and the global gross to $244 million.

In fourth place, Beyoncé’s concert film “Renaissance” raked in $27.4 million, including $6.4 million internationally and $21 million in North America, where it claimed the top position. The film is currently showing in 88 territories.
