Bollywood mourns the loss of young talent as actress Suhani Bhatnagar, famed for her portrayal of young Babita Phogat alongside Aamir Khan in the film ‘Dangal’, has reportedly passed away in Delhi on Saturday, according to media reports.

Suhani, who was just 19 years old, garnered attention for her performance in the critically acclaimed movie. News of her untimely demise emerged on Saturday morning, following her battle with illness, as per circulating media reports.

It’s understood that Suhani had been undergoing treatment at the All India Institute of Medical Science (AIIMS) in the national capital, where she was grappling with health complications stemming from a reaction to medication. Her ailment included fluid accumulation in her body, for which she was receiving medical care.

According to reports, her final rites are scheduled to take place at Faridabad’s Ajronda crematorium.

In response to the tragic news, Aamir Khan Productions swiftly expressed their condolences via social media. “We are deeply saddened to hear about our Suhani passing away,” read the statement. “Our heartfelt condolences to her mother Poojaji, and the entire family. Such a talented young girl, such a team player, ‘Dangal’ would have been incomplete without Suhani.”

The message concluded with a touching tribute: “Suhani, you will always remain a star in our hearts. May you rest in peace.”
