Spider-Man: Brand New Day, Tom Holland’s fourth solo outing as Peter Parker in the MCU, is set for release next summer.

Taking a more grounded, street-level approach following the multiversal chaos of No Way Home, the film is rumoured to feature villains such as Kingpin, Venom, and even alternate versions of the Hulk.

In a major casting reveal, The Hollywood Reporter confirms that Jon Bernthal will join the sequel as Frank Castle, also known as The Punisher—his first appearance in a Marvel Studios film, following roles in Daredevil, The Punisher, and Daredevil: Born Again.

Directed by Shang-Chi’s Destin Daniel Cretton, plot details remain under wraps, though Zendaya and Jacob Batalon will return as MJ and Ned.

With their memories of Peter wiped by Doctor Strange’s spell, the film promises a fresh start for the web-slinger, untethered from past connections and ready for a new chapter.
