The movie Is about Gangwar happening in a city named Wasseypur from 1942 to 2012. story of revenge and again revenge and again revenge continues and incidents occur simultaneously. This movie was made continuously as a 6-hour film, but definitely, it was separated from mid and released as two movies.
Gangs Of Wasseypur, when it was released it was not financially so successful because that was the era when fancy and commercial films with big named stars were ruling theatres. This movie has the most talented actors of this generation but when this movie was made, they all were underrated that’s why it became famous when spread through word of mouth. The villain is equally powerful and scary, and the way choreography has done and the activity and expression of the actors match with the dialog is perfect.
