Marvel’s Avengers Assemble, released in 2012, is the sixth film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) and is directed by Joss Whedon. If the film has any flaws, it’s that some of the secondary characters, such as Agent Coulson (Clark Gregg) and Maria Hill (Cobie Smulders), can feel underdeveloped. Additionally, some of the plot points, such as the Tesseract’s power, can feel under-explained.
Overall, Marvel’s Avengers Assemble is a monumental achievement in the superhero genre. Whedon’s direction, the stellar cast, and the film’s thrilling action sequences make it a must-see for fans of the MCU and superhero movies in general.
