James Gunn Drops Exciting Hint About Central DC Hero in Upcoming Superman Reboot

James Gunn, the director of Superman: Legacy, hints at the inclusion of a significant DC Comics hero in the upcoming installment of the DC Universe. As DC Studios prepares its interconnected franchise, Gunn, who is also a co-CEO, is set to helm the highly anticipated reboot. Scheduled for a 2025 release, production is on track to commence in 2024.

During an interview with Toronto Sun, Gunn unintentionally revealed that Krypto the Superdog will be making an appearance in Superman: Legacy. Confirming the character’s involvement, Gunn playfully discusses the idea of casting Chris Pratt as Krypto. The inclusion of other characters like Lois Lane and Jimmy Olsen has been confirmed, with the casting department actively searching for an actor to portray Lex Luthor.

As anticipation builds, fans eagerly await further announcements and the possible unveiling of the new Superman cast at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con. DC Studios aims to make a significant impact at the event, setting the stage for exciting developments in the world of Superman: Legacy.
